Intel's 65nm Process

It seems apparent that Intel is well on the way to creating processors that can rival AMD’s X2 processors. Their new 65 nanometer process capability seems to allow for an overclocked speed of 4.5 Ghz. This means that a stock clock could end up being in the range of 4 Ghz, but not any time soon.

Why do Intel's fans still hold out hope in reaching 4 Ghz without overclocking?

Yeah man for sure; I'm just glad he's got a redeeming quality. And that's his fondness of Nvidia.

LOL, well intel fans have no idea what they are missing, until they try AMD. Take this for example: I was talking to a friend, and he was saying that he had a p3 1.0GHz, and he downgraded to an AMD 700 MHz, and suddenly he was able to watch DVDs with 30 FPS instead of 10 from the intel chip. He said that he will never go back to intel ever.
