GeForce 8800 GTX

Nvidia's G80 series of cards are expected to be released towards the beginning of November '06. What's even more exciting about the GeForce 8 series is that they will have a new type of anti-aliasing (VCAA), 16x anti-aliasing, 768 MB of video memory, 384-bit memory interface, & GDDR4 RAM. The most astounding advancement is the fact that it's over 2.1 times superior to the 7900 GTX; which means that even if the 7900 GTX were in SLI mode, this new card would beat it out.

Will AMD-ATI's cards prove to be as significantly improved?

Yeah, just imagine an AMD dual-core processor for the core of the card. Haha, it'd be 2 times better than this thing...which is making my BRAND NEW card feel very obsolete.

you're always shooting AK's :P. Yeah, either way, this next generation of games and computer developments is gonna be nuts. Seriously, 64-bit operating system; directX 10, multi-core processors, Organic LED displays...not to mention all the games to keep up with it. Yeah, I really look forward to the coming years.

At least if we SLI our cards it'll be about as good as the new ones. Not to mention our cards will go down in price once the new ones are released so SLI wouldn't cost so much.
