$449 AMD Dell Laptops
Dell has recently started to sell AMD-based mobile devices. Because of the switch to AMD's processors Dell can sell laptops for a very affordable price. In addition to the processors lowering the price of Dell's laptops, Dell's price-performance ratio rises. Intel Celerons were previously the processors Dell implemented in their low-end laptops. Select classes of AMD's Sempron and Athlon 64 model of processors enable more performance for the same and perhaps, in some cases, lower price.

Why wouldn't they? Ah, of course! Typical consumer thinking: Lower price = crappier product. Only after ppl quit thinking that will AMD gain more popularity.
At first ppl will prolly not underrstand that expensive does not always = better. word of mouth is what will get AMD more populer amoung the common consumer

Well compared to the Celerons that used to be the low-end; these AMD processors with completely pwn them. Other than that, the Intel Core 2 Duos will completely pwn up the high-end market.
