Windows XP SP3
It appears as though the next service pack update for windows XP will be released next year, 2007. My guess as well as C|net's is that the update will be released a short time before Vista is released to the public.
Is it a wise decision to make so many XP users wait so long for the next update?

I don't make fun of your comments; I may occasionaally make light of them, but certainly not ridicule. :) I didn't respond because you made a good point to tell you the truth.
I think that the reason that they are waiting so long to release SP3 is because they are focusing all their work on Vista (longhorn) right now, and they have few peepz dedicated to SP3.
That's possible, but more than likely Microsoft is simply waiting for the right time to release Vista. They don't wanna update Windows XP without another choice to updating now do they?
